JOMO?!🤔💭Intentionally choosing to disconnect from social activities or events in order to focus on and enjoy your own personal time, your own well-being, and your own priorities is the best feeling!

Sometimes people will try to make me feel guilty for “being antisocial” and unfortunately, it used to work.😒 I used to cave and go to social activities or events due to peer pressure…of course I would instantly regret going and be mad at myself for allowing peer pressure to break the promises that I made to myself😤…lesson learned, never again!

The Joy Of Missing Out (JOMO) encourages us to be present and be intentional with our choices by pursuing activities that align with our own personal values and goals.

The more I learned to prioritize my own needs over external pressures and other people’s expectations I found a new sense of peace within myself.💕
