Not seeing progress fast enough? Consider this…

not seeing progress fast enough and getting frustrated?👀 Losing motivation when you don’t see progress is a common experience, but there are steps you can take to regain motivation and navigate through the situation. ➡️The first step is self reflection (see the images below). Progress can be highly subjective and can vary depending on individual goals (read the reflection questions I shared in the 2nd image)

🟢Fast progress is great to create a sense of momentum and motivation but can lead to burn out if not managed properly.
🟡Slow progress might feel frustrating in the beginning, but it tends to be more sustainable over the long term. Slow progress involves steady and consistent growth, which allows for a solid foundation to be built, reducing the risk of setbacks or burnout.
🔴No progress is often a result of losing motivation, lack of clarity, getting frustrated and giving up which puts you right back where you started 😤

➡️I’m not saying that fast progress should be avoided, it just requires more upfront (are you ready to do what’s required to achieve that?)🤔

🎯Either way, if you want to see improvement and progress in any area of your life, you have to get clear on what’s required🔎and what you have the capacity for which will vary depending on your starting point, the context of your situation, your goals, and your perspective of what you believe you can or can’t do.

Taking a moment to evaluate and assess your situation can provide some clarity and reduce the chances of you judging yourself in a negative way.

When is the last time you gave up or were frustrated with not seeing the progress that you wanted? How did you handle it?
